Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This privacy policy explains how Antoinette Jordaine ("we", "us", the data controller) collects and uses your personal information when you contact us through this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form we collect the information you provide: your first name, last name, email address, and the contents of your message. We do not collect special category data and we do not ask you to.
How we use it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss a possible commission, collaboration or other request. Our lawful basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How your message reaches us
The form is delivered to us by a third-party form provider (FormSubmit) and received in an email inbox provided by Google (Gmail). Your information is transmitted to these providers only to deliver your message. This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as is necessary to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted. If a commission or collaboration proceeds, related records may be kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We share it only with the service providers described above who help us operate the website and receive your message.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through this form.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party services used to display the site (such as Google Fonts) and to deliver the form may process limited technical data, such as your IP address, to function. We also use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly visit counter that sets no cookies and does not track you across websites; it records anonymous page-view counts and may briefly process your IP address to do so.
